What matters is Link Velocity
Link Velocity relates to speed at which a site obtains back-links. But the question arises what is the need to consider talks about link velocity and not just link speed. This is because the former is a vector quantity while the later is a scalar quantity.
Before moving further in understanding link velocity in details, we must first realize the very significance from vector perspective.
Defining vector quantity, it is a quantity that has both magnitude and direction. On the very other hand, scalar has only magnitude and no direction at all.
It is crucial that the back-link must be directed towards a specific direction that is towards a specific direction that is towards the site, it has particular direction and must be defined as velocity and not speed.
The million dollar remains how to decide the rate at which you must run. Creation of back-links is really crucial for any website. However, creating those back-links at the very speed of light isn’t a wise decision at all and for atleast any major search engines such as Google doesn’t appreciate it.
Thus, if someone suggests you for building thousands of back-links instantly as against a few bucks, you must act skeptically with them. Google and several other major search engines do employ smart engineers as well as coders for developing their search engine algorithm. Don’t just think that you are smarter enough to fool them with automation only.
Instead of creation of 500 or 1000 back-links per day, you must focus on creating them on a regular basis throughout the month. By doing so, you can achieve the result in as less than 3 months time. Those days are gone when creating tons of back-links in a shorter span of time offers the desired results. Today, it can result in serious catastrophe for your website.
Today, what matters is consistency and for being successful, you need to be consistent. It isn’t how fast or how slow you are into building links but how regularly you build trustworthy and weighty links directed to your site.
