We know that any website, which we find, is through the search engines. But, where the search engine gets those websites? Whenever any website is made it is submitted by the webmaster into the search engines, and the whole process is called the search engine submission. The search engines deliver a lot of directories, which have regular and infinite categories on which the websites needs to be submitted. The big names in the world of search engines are Google, Yahoo, and Bing. They use their spiders and crawler to fetch the entire relevant and genuine website through the search engine and make an index out of it.

Through a sitemap of the website, the crawlers of the search engines are able to find all the pages present in the website and become a better search for them too.
