We have been looking at the tremendous strictness of Google Panda when it comes to content duplicacy and putting down the right website at a lower level of SERPs. The Google Panda update is not a funny story in the way it has affected high page rank websites and big brands, when it came to better web traffic and Page Rank. That is why the webmasters need to be more cautious about how it can affect them. The change is implemented in order to remove ‘low quality’ content, or in other words, spam content trying to rank in the search engines. You have to understand that Google is only trying its best in eliminating results that are not relevant or not useful because its users have requested it.
The Panda update has affected sites like Mahalo, Ezine articles, Wisegeek and many other websites. I was personally surprised that Ezine articles was affected because they do look over and edit their articles and they even reject some of the articles although perhaps quite loosely. Now they said that they would be stricter with the articles they are accepting.
The webmasters should be more aware of the things while publishing. It should be unique, original and helpful to people. There should be no articles just to show the search engines as some people do. Any content farming websites, to look at which keywords the webmaster could grab from them when the Panda update is implemented in the country. Maybe, it can be one to rank first for that keyword phrase that the web owners want since they are being kicked off the picture.
